About us

At our premises in Christchurch, we offer a complete suite of gynaecological services for every stage of life. Our physicians work with an adept clinical support team to offer healthcare that is expert, thorough and, most of all, compassionate.

Women’s health issues do not stand alone. Neither do we.

When it comes to gynaecological health, things can be complex and interconnected. We take a holistic, culturally responsive approach to diagnosis and treatment.

Our team of highly qualified doctors cover a broad spectrum of special interests, ranging from fertility and conception, to endometriosis management, ovulation disorders and high risk obstetrics. We’re collaborative by nature, drawing on the sub-specialist experience and surgical skill of our colleagues as needed. This means our patients can access expertise in all aspects of women’s health in one welcoming space.

Our expertise is unparalleled.

Only with specialist knowledge and acumen can the highest standard of care be provided. The collective experience and skill of our team is in high demand across the health sector, including medical education. A number of our doctors are in clinical supervision roles around the region, while others teach at Otago University’s School of Medicine.

With our qualifications and surgical expertise, COGA offers a wide range of important gynaecological procedures to our patients, including complex reconstructive surgery, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical procedures – many of which can be done in-house. Our patients benefit from the combined expertise of COGA physicians as we work together to provide the most thorough care possible.

Our hearts are in women’s health.
