The following terms and conditions apply to the sale of products through the COGA online shop. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Medical Guidance
Products available in the COGA shop are sold as general health and wellness products. Their availability in our shop does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or prescription for any individual customer.
Nothing on the COGA website or in the COGA shop constitutes personal medical advice. Customers are encouraged to consult a qualified health professional before using any new health product, particularly if they are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing medical treatment, or managing a diagnosed health condition. If you are a COGA patient, please speak with your clinician if you have questions about suitability.
2. Pricing
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is confirmed.
A flat-rate shipping fee of $7.00 NZD applies to all orders and will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.
3. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. COGA reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors and stock unavailability.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. Checkout, payment processing, and order confirmation emails are all handled through our online shop platform. Accepted payment methods are those available at checkout and may include credit and debit cards and other options enabled through our payment provider.
COGA does not store your payment information. All payment data is processed securely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and terms of service, available at shopify.com. Orders are not confirmed until full payment has been received and an automated confirmation email has been issued.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped New Zealand-wide. Please refer to our shipping & returns policy for full details on dispatch timeframes, estimated delivery times, and our process for damaged or incorrect orders. Dispatch confirmation emails are sent automatically. COGA is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or circumstances outside our control.
5. Returns
Due to the health and hygiene nature of the products sold, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been dispatched, except in the case of faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items. Please refer to our shipping & returns policy for the relevant process.
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 are not affected by this policy.
6. Product Availability
Products are sold subject to availability. In the unlikely event that a product is out of stock after your order has been placed, COGA will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or the option to wait until stock is replenished.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, COGA’s liability in connection with any product purchased through our shop is limited to the purchase price paid for that product. COGA is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use or misuse of any product purchased through the COGA shop.
COGA is not responsible for adverse reactions resulting from misuse, failure to follow product instructions, or use contrary to medical advice provided to the customer.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with your purchase will be handled in accordance with COGA’s Privacy Policy, available at coga.org.nz/privacy-policy. COGA complies with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
9. Changes to terms
COGA reserves the right to update or amend these terms & conditions at any time. The version published on the COGA website at the time of your order will apply to that order.
