With over 20 years as a Medical Secretary and Personal Assistant in both the public and private sectors, Amber comes to her role as PA to the exceptionally busy Dr Ange Beard with a wide-ranging wealth of experience. 

Before beginning at COGA, she has worked in specialty ENT, Ophthalmology, Colorectal, and Breast Care clinics, as well as within General Practitioner and General Surgery clinics. This experience has contributed to her high level of professionalism and skill, which is backed by a genuine love for helping people.

Amber is also well qualified, having completed a Medical Terminology course at AUT, and completing Medical Secretary and Medical Receptionist courses at CPIT Christchurch. She came into this line of work with a strong interest in medicine, which makes her a knowledgeable link between Dr Beard and her patients.

A Christchurch local, Amber appreciates being part of the strong team atmosphere at COGA, and making a positive difference to the lives of women from all different backgrounds, allowing them to live their lives with health and positivity.

As a trained chef in a previous life, when she’s not at work Amber can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen and sharing food and laughs with family and friends.
